Sigma Kappa

Sigma Kappa provides valuable leadership development opportunities to its members. As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity during their collegiate experience. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them.

Boone Hall pumpkin patch trip, Saturday October 13th. This is a fun time for sisters to be with each other and pick out pumpkins and pose for fall photos.

Sisterhood Retreat at The Citadel Beach Club in Isle of Palm on September 9th. This included beach time and fun sports games like kickball, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee.

Every semester we have date parties and mixers that are with other Greek Life organizations. These are typically themed for the season, like our Halloween date party or just for fun like our Wigin' Out mixer.

Alumni Involvement

Outside of Sigma Kappa

Our sisters are involved in numerous activities on the College of Charleston campus such as Charleston Forty Tour Guides Association, Student Alumni Associates, MicroFinance Club, Club for Hospitality and Tourism, Equestrian, Theater, Dance, and so much more! Not only do our sisters get involved as members, many of our sisters take on leadership roles and executive board positions of these clubs.
