Sigma Kappa

As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in their campus and community. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events.

A Galentine's Sisterhood event was held at the Sigma Kappa house on February 11th, 2020 at 6pm. We enjoyed some Valentine's themed treats and activities!

Every semester we have date parties and mixers that are with other Greek Life organizations. These are typically themed for the season, like our Halloween date party or just for fun like our Wigin' Out mixer.

Area 51 Mixer: Our first mixer this year was held with Kappa Alpha at King Street Public House. The theme was, of course, Area 51 themed!

Semi-Formal: Our Semi-Formal was held on November 23rd, 2019 at Woolfe Street Playhouse.

C.O.B. Bid Day: Welcome home to our new Sig Kaps! We had so much fun roller skating with everyone while celebrating our new sisters!

St Patrick's Mixer/Date Party: We shamrocked around with KA on March 4th, 2020 at Mynt! This event was planned by Lauren Ducci!

Alumni Involvement

We welcome all sisters to our Sigma Kappa home on Thursday Feburary 27, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm for our first alumnae event! You can enjoy sweet treats and crafting with our sisters and alumnae.

Outside of Sigma Kappa

Our sisters are involved in numerous activities on the College of Charleston campus such as Charleston Forty Tour Guides Association, Student Alumni Associates, MicroFinance Club, Club for Hospitality and Tourism, Equestrian, Theater, Dance, and so much more! Not only do our sisters get involved as members, many of our sisters take on leadership roles and executive board positions of these clubs.
